Derek Browne
Derek has over 15 years of experience across the microprocessor, medical device and cellular connected device industries. His background is in taking complex technical requirements through to products that reach volume production.
A Technological University Dublin graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Derek started his career at Intel as an embedded firmware engineer and team manager, working on Intel’s early IoT programmes. He later moved into technical team and programme management, delivering software for Class II and Class III medical devices.
As CEO of TxWireless, Derek leads the company’s strategy and growth as a design partner that takes clients from concept through to volume production, supported by the manufacturing scale of parent company Suga Technology. His focus is on building long term client relationships in the medical, industrial and connected device markets, and on developing the engineering and programme management teams in Dublin and Gdańsk.
Wassim Magnin
With 15 years of experience in IOT product development, Wassim acquired an extensive and wide expertise in the development of IOT solutions for buildings, energy management, transportation, and smart cities.
His versatile skillset brought him through various research and industry roles from embedded systems applications engineering to solutions lead.
A Tyndall National Institute alumni, Wassim previously joined TxWireless as a Hardware Lead in 2015 where his keen eye for innovation and customer relationship contributed to the development and success of our very first IoT solutions.
He co-founded PestPulse in 2018, a Dublin based IOT company developing innovative IOT solutions for Pest Control which was later acquired by ServiceMaster.
With the passion to develop future-proof solutions for sustainability, Wassim joined us from Analog Devices where he led a team focusing on the development of Industry 4.0 solutions.
David O'Keeffe
David has over 20 years of international experience delivering complex engineering programmes across the IoT, medical device, semiconductor and electron microscopy sectors.
A University of Limerick alumnus, his experience includes delivering advanced semiconductor equipment, electron microscopy systems and electromechanical medical devices, including successful FDA 510(k) clearance.
As Director of PMO at TxWireless, David leads the technical project management function and oversees structured connected-device programmes from concept through to mass production. He works with international teams and clients to deliver secure, reliable and certified products to global markets.
Niall Keating
Having spent his entire career in connected device development, Niall brings deep, hands-on expertise spanning embedded systems, cellular connectivity and cloud integration, helping clients translate complex technical challenges into clearly defined, deliverable programmes.
A Technological University Dublin alumnus with a degree in Computer and Communications Engineering, Niall has been with TxWireless since 2018. In that time he has contributed to the delivery of customer devices across the company’s asset tracking, industrial gateway and medical verticals, building a rare end-to-end understanding of how connected products come together.
As Director of Solution Architecture, Niall now leads early customer engagement, partnering with clients from the first conversation to shape their requirements into robust technical solutions and well-scoped programmes. His combination of technical depth and collaborative approach ensures TxWireless customers start every project on solid foundations.
